Clubs

This heading covers a wide variety of social facilities. Company clubs, Working Mens' Clubs, Pool Clubs, Car (?) Clubs etc All have unique requirements and therein lies the CIC Philosophy "Every Client is an Individual".

CIC work with Rileys Pool and Snooker Halls with projects ranging from a £60k smoking solution where an external floor has been added to the refit of a gala bingo club.

Individual Clubs such as Vauxhall Motors, British Airways Club and Pfizers have all benefited from the CIC wow factor. The testament from Clubs though is whether you are asked back. CIC are on their fourth project for British Airways and third project for Vauxhall. Just a few are mentioned below.

CIC were called in by VRC and asked with other companies to provide the wow factor and change their image. CIC secured the contract and went on to revitalise the social area with a £200k 7 week refit.

In the words of Paul Watkins – "Having undertaken the initial installation and fit out of our lounge and sports bars in 1995 and an interim refurbishment in 2000, CIC has just completed a full £300,000 major refit. Their brief was to create the wow factor, something they have most certainly achieved. Our member and visitor response has been nothing but superb, everyone is delighted and utilisation has increased ten fold. Not unexpectedly, given our past experience of working with them, the project was well managed and completed on time and within budget. The finished result exceeded our expectations and I have no hesitation in recommending them to you."

This project was CIC's third refit for the club working with Colin Bowers. The Club needed to expand their Conference business as they could no longer survive on the Police force alone. However the club is a very busy facility and could only offer a 6 week window for a £300k refit. CIC came up with a solution for both budget and project time completing the project in time for a Police function. The Chief Constable at the opening ceremony said "It seems a rare statement to make these days, but the contractor competed the works on time and in budget."
